Joe Black, Alfie Ordinary and Cinebra's Edinburgh Fringe Fundraiser Spectacular
Three award winning Brighton cabaret acts are joining forces to create a CABARET SUPERGROUP to raise money for an Edinburgh Fringe run
‘The King Of Cabaret Noir’ JOE BLACK is working with top Brighton Fringe Award Winner ALFIE ORDINARY who won the International Touring Bursary with The Pebble Trust at last year’s Brighton Fringe and Brighton Fringe newcomers CINEBRA (the new double act by Club Revenge residents Rococo Chanel and Lydia L’Scabies), who are this year’s winner of the Encore Insure bursary.
The four artists have joined together to create a cabaret supergroup and are putting on a fundraiser filled with live music, comedy and drag to raise money for their respective Edinburgh runs later this year. The event will be a showcase of cabaret and drag talent, with the foursome stepping away from their usual roles and combining their eclectic styles to become a dysfunctional pop band.
The group are taking their solo shows to Edinburgh in August this year after each having a spot in the Brighton Fringe this summer. Joe Black’s critically acclaimed ‘Meet Me At The Eldorado’ will be performed in a one night special at The Spiegletent, while Alfie Ordinary’s award winning ‘Help! I Think I Might Be Fabulous’ will take place in The Bosco Theatre and CINEBRA make their Brighton Fringe debut at The Rialto theatre.
Joe Black, Alfie Ordinary and Sophie and Megan of CINEBRA will be performing singalong classics, hits from the musicals as well as original music along, gameshows and raffles in a night of pure, unashamed feel-good entertainment.
