Maisie Adam: Living on the Edge - Live
17th, 21st - 23rd May
"Living on the Edge" is the new one-woman stand-up comedy show from Maisie Adam ("one of the UK's most exciting up-and-coming young comedians" - Ditto Theatre). Having been previewed to a sold out crowd at the 2016 Ilkley Fringe and currently touring the UK comedy circuit, the show's eclectic mix of anecdotal and observational material along with Maisie’s self-deprecating charm has quickly won her praise up and down the country. Taken from personal experiences of being a young Yorkshire lass attempting to "adult" in the big wide world, "Living on the Edge" explores various topics from the classic faux pas of a Brit abroad and the politics of the playground to the fascinating spectacle that is Theresa May's body posture.
Maisie recently supported Gavin Webster (Never Mind The Buzzcocks and I, Daniel Blake), and her new show has already been booked for runs at Bath Comedy Festival, Hastings Comedy Fringe Festival and to headline Southend Fringe.
Maisie is a comedian who leaves the audience belly laughing, giving standing ovations, throwing roses onstage, naming their babies after her - but most importantly, she is a comedian who never exaggerates.
