So You Say

13th August

Back in Brighton for one night only as a preview to our camden fringe run

“You haven’t changed a bit…” One evening, two stories, too many memories

Written and Directed by Sam Chittenden
(previous directing credits include The Arsonists, Blackbird and The Clean House; writer of Underworlds)

When ex-lovers meet after a gap of many years, what can we believe about the stories they tell?

So You Say explores the divergence over time of what we tell ourselves and others about shared experiences. Do our unreliable narratives arise from differing perspectives, self deception or downright dishonesty? A fast-paced emotional ride through past and present - funny, shocking and bittersweet.

With Charly Sommers and Russell Shaw

Outstanding in its simplicity and honesty (Broadway Baby ★★★★)
Selected/longlisted for Best New Play, Brighton Fringe
